Honestly. What lovely people.

We don't have a new construction house. Ours is a hand-me-down that fell into some disrepair. Most companies wouldn't even talk to us without wanting to do a full gut. That was complicated since my grandfather had built the place with his brothers.

When Don showed up, he immediately said, "yeah this is no problem." Glued plastic tiles falling off the wall? "Those'll come off real easy and then we'll just skim the wall." Tearing out a cracking, molded vinyl countertop and replace with granite? He knew just the company and helped us stay in budget. He told us about floating vinyl planks that would be durable enough for kids and a moose of a dog and would preserve the flooring my grandfather designed & laid down in the 50s. "No problem." "Do I have the solution for you." And "I'll lay out everything to help you stay in budget."

He was not kidding. A few weeks later I got an actual itinerary of who I needed to make appointments with and what to select and the amount I had in my budget. He gave me a deadline to keep if we were going to make our start date and I felt so much better knowing what I needed to do and when. If I ever had a question, I could message him directly.

Then our start date came and Steve showed up. He also had this crazy calendar taped to my sliding door and it detailed everything that was supposed to happen on each day and how long the project would take. I knew who was coming to our home and how long they were projected to be there. He was on top of his people. Every time a new person came to work he told them exactly what they were doing, sometimes even using marker on the things to demo or skim or patch. It was crazy. He even gave me tips on where to buy new major appliances and how to refinish my cabinets that had been adamant about keeping.

They completely transformed my kitchen. And it is just amazing. They fixed things that I didn't even notice! Painted my 80 year old vent covers! Patched an area of plastic tiles in the adjacent room that I had melted with an air fryer. The flooring guy showed me how to place some of the vinyl planks since he knew I was going to extend the flooring into the adjacent room later in the year.

As a woman calling a construction company, I kind of expect to be talked down to or around. I expect to be more or less invisible during the process- a friendly hello and goodbye as things are done. The guys at LDS didn't assume I knew nothing (don't worry I don't!) They were happy to explain things and I never once felt out of the loop. It was... Refreshing

This is a really long way to say that I couldn't be happier. They're good people and they did a great job. It's all five stars all the way around..

Honestly they're in so much trouble now because I have a whole list of things that need updating. My husband is already wanting me to get another quote because he loves the new kitchen so much.

My name is Angela Cetorelli and we had LDS do a complete kitchen remodel for us they came meet with us told us what it would cost, and how long it would take, they came back gave us a spread sheet with all the details listed dates and times when people would be in and out. My kitchen is beautiful and they were right on schedule and not a penny more. I would suggest them to anyone needing any work done from cabinets, electrical, painting to plumbing.
