Len Huddleston

Founding Partner

Len co-owned Design Construction Services, a custom home building and land development company located in North Canton, Ohio. Len brings over 50 years of industry experience—from watching his father as a child to building custom homes himself. He also had the privilege of serving as President of the Home Builders Association of Portage and Summit Counties in 2007 (now known as the Building Industry Association of Northeast Ohio, or BIANEO). In his free time, you'll find Len spending quiet time with his wife and family, golfing, or coaching physical training.

Lisa Huddleston

Office Manager / "The Actual Boss"

Lisa—Len's wife, partner in crime, and "the actual boss"—is LDS Specialists' office manager. She plays an indispensable role in the business: paying the bills and ensuring smooth operations from a financial standpoint. You will often hear from Lisa when it comes time for project payments. Outside of LDS Specialists, Lisa is a wine connoisseur whom you'll frequently find crafting wine for family, friends, and herself. (And occasionally, Len is allowed to have some, too!) The beach is where Lisa loves to be, maybe that's why we find sand in the office all the time?

Steve Huddleston

Founding Partner / Director of Field Operations

Steve is Len’s son and LDS Specialists’ Operating Partner. He oversees field operations and schedules each phase of your remodeling project to ensure a timely and satisfactory outcome. Prior to joining his father in home remodeling, Steve managed multiple new construction housing developments and brings over 20 years of construction expertise to the team. In his spare time, Steve and his wife play an active role in their daughters' softball journeys, from coaching to spectating.

Don Xu

Operations Manager / Estimator

Len's son-in-law joined the LDS Specialists family, bringing a strong technical background and technology-driven mindset to the team. This background helps homeowners during the planning stages of a home remodel, especially when they have technical or product questions. Don serves as LDS Specialists' senior estimator and operations manager, bringing more than 20 years of operations experience to the company. An automotive enthusiast, self-described gearhead and avid volleyball player, Don enjoys attending car events with his family, participating in his children's extracurricular activities and you'll see him at volleyball events and tournaments throughout Northeast Ohio.

Ken Perrin

Project Superintendent

As one of LDS Specialists' original team members, Kenny brings over 15 years of extensive in-field experience and training, allowing him to manage remodeling projects efficiently and accurately. In his free time, Kenny enjoys spending time with his family, supporting his children at their sporting events, and playing 18 holes on the golf course. Many people don't know this, but Kenny enjoys woodworking and loves to build all sorts of wood projects in his woodshop at home.

Thor Maximus Riese Huddleston

Director of Security

Thor joined our team 10+ years ago as director of security. He also leads many of our interviews and does background checks on everyone who visits our facility. Thor works 24/7. When he does take a break every once in a while, you'll catch him lying under the sun in the grass, chewing on his whale toy, or hovering around the kitchen to pick up after people that may have dropped food on the ground. (He likes to maintain a clean home.)
